CHARLOTTE JACKSON FINE ART PRESENTS:

Since 1990, I have been interested in overcoming two-dimensionality in painting. I tell no stories, offer no political viewpoint, and generally avoid use of pictorial space. I am interested in art as a purely visual self-sustaining language that causes us to consider the fabric of reality, the space/time construct, and the nature of our own perception. I prefer the open-ended possibilities of art as a place of being, not as a record of doing. I attempt to provide an ambiguously-defined three-dimensional construct that offers a minimum of coercion, and serves as a means of experiencing the space of your own consciousness.
