| I am drawn to the beauty of colour and the arresting purity it
possesses when separated from form and context. Through painting and
photography, I focus on light, shadow, and the subtle nuances found
in common experiences. By abstracting actual occurrences into
subliminal fields, I amplify moments that often go unnoticed and
create portals to subconscious unveiling. My interest lies in experiences that are nonverbal and unexplainable in traditional language. The goal is to encourage psychological introspection and create a space for sensory perception. By allowing the formal to be a spark for the internal, I speak to experiences beyond words – the moments which carry great weight in the body yet are not fully resolved in the mind. Each is an illumination, a meditation, aimed at promoting self-knowledge and discovering oneself through stillness. |
